Last year, we introduced plans to separate the annual meeting from the Family Fun Day portion of the event; however, COVID changed many plans for everyone. By separating the events, we can better focus on the contrasting purpose of both. The new Member Appreciation Day will give us a chance to pause and show our appreciation to all of you.
We are happy to announce that with the new changes in regulations, the safety protocols put in place by Cedar Point, the current outlook of COVID-19, and the fantastic response to the survey we sent out in January, we have decided to plan another Member Appreciation Day for 2021.
We encourage everyone to join other co-op members and us for this family-friendly event on Sunday, June 27. We’ve scheduled this event for the weekend in hopes that as many members as possible can participate in this new and exciting tradition.
Many of the event details have remained unchanged from last year’s plans. Members will be able to purchase up to four tickets at $25 each, and these tickets will also include a free, catered meal and parking for the day. Additional admission tickets over four can be purchased at regular price.
We’re looking forward to the opportunity for co-op staff and trustees to talk to you, the members of this not-for-profit electric cooperative, at the event.
