Three scholarships, in the amounts of $2,000, $1,500, and $1,000, are available to children of co-op employees who are graduating high school seniors and are not eligible for other scholarships offered by the cooperative. Children of electric co-op trustees, OEC staff, and affiliated organizations' staff do not qualify. Scholarships are awarded annually, following the interview of ten finalists in Columbus. This scholarship is administered by Ohio's Electric Cooperatives.
Applicants of the OLSA Scholarship must complete this online orientation and submit their application and attachments to Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives by February 2. OLSA Scholarship purpose and rules can be found on the previously mentioned webpage.
