Did you overcome adversity, obstacles or personal challenges on your way to excellence? Tell us about it and you may win The Touchstone Energy® Achievements Scholarship sponsored by Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative.
The $1,000 scholarship is based on the values expressed by the Touchstone Energy® brand, a brand designation embraced by more than 700 electric cooperatives in 44 states, including LMRE.
The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors whose parents/guardians are members of the Lorain-Medina Rural Electric Cooperative and receiving electric at their primary residence from the cooperative. The applications must be, at a minimum, in the 60th percentile of his/her class and have at least a 2.75 cumulative grade point average.
