Lorain-Medina Rural Electric members can receive discounts on everything from pharmaceutical to home and garden and everything in between. Members are also able to clip coupons from their favorite stores and save on their next visit.

Cooperative Healthy Savings Card
The same program that offers discounts at local and national merchants and has saved LMRE members more than $138,000 on prescriptions, now offers significant savings on dental, vision, hearing, lab and imaging services and chiropractic work.
To receive these benefits, members need to update their current Co-op Connections Card. E-mail the cooperative with your name, address and account number or call 1-800-222-LMRE or 440-647-2133. Replacement cards are available.
Once the card has been updated, simply show the Co-op Connections Card at participating providers and you will receive a discount.
With the new Healthy Savings package, members receive no-cost access to the following discount health benefits:
Prescriptions: By using your Co-op Connections Card, you will received a 10 to 85 percent discount on prescription drugs at more than 60,000 national and regional pharmacy chain stores including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Discount Drug Mart and Rite Aid.
Dental Care: Save 20 to 40 percent on most dental services including orthodontics, periodontics and endodontics.
Vision: Get 20 to 60 percent savings on eye wear.
Hearing Aids: Discount of 35 percent off hearing aid prices at 2,000-plus Newport Audiology Center locations.
Lab Work and Imaging: Savings of 10 to 60 percent off usual charges for MRI, CT and other lab procedures.
Chiropractic: Take advantage of 30 to 50 percent savings on diagnostic services and treatments.
This is not insurance nor is it intended to replace insurance. This discount card program contains a 30-day cancellation period.
This plan provides discounts at certain healthcare providers for deical services. The plan does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. The plan member is obligated to pay for all healthcare services but will receive a discount for those healthcare providers who have contracted with the discount plan organization.
